Kayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard Clinics

Please note that the lake does not rent StandUp Paddleboards.

Paddleboard and Kayak Clinics are usually held on Saturday mornings with Drop-In Kayaking on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day and usually through September). Please see the Calendar for details or call the Lake office at (661) 257-4050.

Castaic Lake Quagga Mussel inspections are required

Your boat must be absolutely clean and dry! We can't stress this enough. If it isn't, you will be prohibited from launching for 7 days, so make sure your boat is completely free of debris and is absolutely dry. There are no exceptions to this policy, which also applies to Piru and Pyramid Lakes. We want to keep those little hitchhikers out of our beautiful lake, so thanks for your patience and cooperation. Even kayaks and paddleboards are subject to inspection, so please be prepared for delays on busy weekends.
