Castaic Lake Quagga Mussel inspections are now in effect!

Your boat must be absolutely clean and dry! We can't stress this enough. If it isn't, you will be prohibited from launching for 7 days, so make sure your boat is completely free of debris and is absolutely dry. There are no exceptions to this policy, which also applies to Piru and Pyramid Lakes. We want to keep those little hitchhikers out of our beautiful lake, so thanks for your patience and cooperation. Even kayaks and paddleboards are subject to inspection, so please be prepared for delays on busy weekends.

Kayaking Club Meetings

The next Kayak club meeting will be on the patio of the BISC building at Castaic Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15th, prior to the monthly Friends of Castaic Lake meeting. (Anyone is welcome to join us. Ask the gate attendant to direct you to the Friends meeting.) I hope you can join us!

Our club is now officially a part of The Friends of Castaic Lake. There is no charge to become a member of the FOCL, but there are requirements for membership. Everyone is invited to become a member to enjoy the benefits of our kayaking group as well as the rest of the Friends activities.

Friends of Castaic Lake meetings

The Friends of Castaic Lake meets every third Tuesday of each month except December at the BISC Building at Paradise Cove. New prospective members are welcome to join us. Check the FOCL website page for further details.
